About Us
We began our cooking and baking careers approximately 38 years ago.  We were introduced to the love of baking by our father Paul Meredith who was always in the kitchen creating some kind of homemade cake or candy.  His confections were always a much anticipated treat and he never used a recipe to create his culinary delights.   We also attribute  baking skills to our home economics teacher Mrs. Cilicia Burden. Thank goodness for her patience and love of teaching. We still use many of the recipes acquired in her classes today. Throughout our life cooking and baking has been an important factor in some of the most memorable times of our lives and those of our families.
Those memories and the support of our wonderful family and friends have played a key role in building an award winning business.
Sugarbakers is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to doing our best to meet those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
